I’m not looking for you anymore.

There was an enormous bright light,

And then everything went comfortably numb,

and the days slowly turned into nights.

But a light would shine far away in a line,

It was then when I saw you for the first time,

and my heart wondered, if you could be mine?

With a snap of a finger,

you disappeared in the thin air,

leaving stardust behind,

Even the dust shined like one of the kind.

I’ve been down on my knees,

heart sinking into an oblivion too,

I’ve searched for you in worlds within worlds,

I’ve searched through and through.

I’ve had raindrops wound me, cause so much pain,

Only to have it rain all over again.

When the ground trembled, I stood tall,

Looked for you in the crispy leaves,

in case the tremors made you fall.

Oh I looked for you,

dawn till dusk, dusk till dawn,

I felt my bones crumble in the palm of your hand,

but when I turned around you were far gone.

I walked in the night,

looked in the places you once hid,

Though it’s day now,

but nothing shines as bright as you once did.

Feet don’t agree with my spirit anymore,

The Heart’s in pieces, soul is torn.

There once resided Galaxies,

now it’s all empty inside,

I’m not looking for you anymore,

so you can come out now,

from wherever you choose to hide.

Stick a pin in it…

Giving up is all kinds of cowardly,

it’s a sign of being weak,

But sometimes

it’s what you have to do

to make yourself strong too.

So stick a pin in it,

it’s time,

it’s been time for sometime now.

Quote

Time flies by, but life

seems to be standing still,

And no matter what we do,

we’re made to grow old

against our will.

It’s like we’re all

part of a big scheme,

Or maybe we only exist

in someone else’s dream.

Read Me like your favourite book

Read me like your favourite book,

You’ll see how my pages paint themselves with your name, as you turn them one by one,

Read what makes me, me, and about everything I’ve done.

Be all ears, as I tell you how it all began,

Read me like only a man can.

Highlight your favourite words, colour me in your love as you fall,

And as your eyes move from one word to another, let them scribble on my walls.

Read of all the poison, and spread your smile on them like it was an antidote,

Smile on every word I wrote.

Don’t fight gravity as you fall for me, kiss those pages softly as I unwind,

Let them set the ocean inside of you on fire, as you fall for my kind.

And as you learn about all the laughter, all the pain and all the rage,

Discover me, the way even I couldn’t. Feeling glad, you didn’t just skip to the last page.

Untamed

I move with the wind Darling

I flow with the river

I’m that fire burning in you

And even that shiver

They call me an Angel

They call me the Devil too

They say I’m a wild heart,

In the dark, my light shines through

So many things I’ve been named

But not once tamed

So if you think you can… I would love to see you try

Every time you try and pull me down, you’ll see me reach for the sky

It’s time

‘I wanted to say I’m sorry that I’m dying

But no one would listen to me,

they just kept crying’

‘I’m right here, look at me, can’t you see?

I’m trying to say something, can you hear me?’

‘I know it hurts, maybe you’re in more pain than I’m in too

But I can’t bare it now,

all my nightmares are coming true’

‘If this is goodbye, let me say so

I love you, but this pain, I need to let go’

‘Then it hit me, No I can’t leave, please not yet,

Not while your eyes are still socking wet.

But I’ve lost my way, I’m trapped in this maze, how do I return?

Then I turned, and

saw myself lay there, so lifeless,

the reaper telling me, it’s my turn’

Complicated Beings

We ask for more, but then we get bored

We keep knocking on those doors, when answered, we simply ignore

People we adored, we don’t want them anymore

The forever we swore, the Love we once poured,

The hearts we managed to lure, then we slowly tore

Then we justify, ‘All is fair in Love and war.’

It’s Love we want to explore, but we get stuck at the shore

It’s the touch we implore, but then we start keeping scores

If you want it in your core, let go of the hate from before

Let that Love out of that store, open that door, let Love roar

And you’ll get what you’re waiting for, together we’ll walk these floors.
