Sky and the ground

So the ground fell in love with the sky,

Rumours spread, that they somewhere meet, the sky and the ground,

but no matter how hard they tried, that place could never be found,

Disappointed and hopeless,

The sky went blue,

The ground burned with fire,

They were to be in love, but never meet,

What could they do when fate conspired?

And then the sky cried rain,

To ease ground’s pain,

It filled the ground with oceans and rivers,

And the ground became sky’s mirror.

They live in each others hearts,

Even when the whole world sees them apart.

The little things

I want to know the little things in life

Like how the sun fell in love with the moon so immensely

How the stars love the sky so intensely

How the ocean came alive

How the ground still survives

How the birds can fly

Can we paint a different colour in the sky?

Why doesn’t time stand still when moments seem to matter

How a single touch makes the heart beat just a little faster

How a single gesture makes you fly in the sky

while your feet still touch the ground

How the seasons change,

but beauty still surrounds

Do we really turn into stars when we die?

If we could fly, can we really touch the sky?

How do clouds feel if you hold them in your hand?

If the earth is round, do they somewhere meet? The sky and the land?

Blessings are your Answers

We want peace of mind,

But we never let our mind be at peace

We forget that everything we lose, is not a loss

Everything we get, is not a gain

Every question does not have an answer

And sometimes we get answers even though there were no questions to begin with

We turn our backs to the light

We dwell in the dark

We fight, we cry, we hurt, we howl

Because that ‘Why’ was never answered

You’ll get what you need, and if you’re really lucky, you’ll get what you want too

But not before its time.

‘Why wait for time? What does time has to do with this?’

Before you get the ‘answer’, imagine this,

you took your first step, because it was time,

you got your education, because it was time,

you felt loved, you felt hurt, you felt betrayed, you suffered loss, you gained people, you achieved success, all because it was time.

Imagine you were a baby, and you limped like old people do, and your knee ached too.

 Doesn’t make sense, does it?

‘I can’t be old before my time.’ There you go…

Because ‘time’ sailed you through it, it all feels like a natural course of life.

You enjoyed the time you were a baby, you enjoyed the time you grew up.

You wouldn’t have it any other way.

Time played its role, so you could play yours.

If we choose to look back and see all the blessings, we’ll feel nothing but blessed.

So next time, let’s not look for answers, not all questions were designed to be answered, some of them were simply designed for you to think, dig deep into your nature, find yourself.

It’s blessings we want, it’s happiness we crave.

So next time, ask to be so blessed instead, that you forget the question, you forget the answers, all you remember is that an angel is sitting on your shoulder, watching over you.

Just ask to be blessed.

Blessings are your answers.
