Stick a pin in it…

Giving up is all kinds of cowardly,

it’s a sign of being weak,

But sometimes

it’s what you have to do

to make yourself strong too.

So stick a pin in it,

it’s time,

it’s been time for sometime now.

~I found my poetry in You~

Not that I didn’t love

poetry before,

but I always seemed

to fall short of words,

All I knew, was that

The sky was blue,

and the sea reflected it too,

but to think more of them,

seemed a bit absurd,

Then I met you,

the sky was still blue,

but there was something new,

the same world,

but a different view,

And then I learned that

words weren’t just scribbled

alphabets on papers

they were so much more too,

and it was then that I knew,

I’d found my poetry in you.

We are Unfinished business Me and You…

The hours seemed longer than they should’ve,

Our silence kept filling the blanks,

And as our souls intertwined,

The world seemed to fall far behind,

We were in a place, no one else could find,

And my heart slowly took over my mind.

In a matter of minutes,

I was being lead by the blind.

As you held my hand, and walked by my side,

I couldn’t help but watch you starry eyed,

But as the waves so intensely

in love with the shore,

strangely decides to pull away,

You too seemed to disappear one day.

I looked for you in the bright sun light,

in the darkness of the night,

We both left our hearts on the table,

unacknowledged, unclaimed,

I guess we couldn’t bare the thought

of being tamed,

And it seemed easier to play games,

Oh ! What a shame.

So we drifted apart, decided on a new start,

the one without our hearts,

But every time the sun took over the sky,

every time the moon tried to look me in the eye

The sky would cry stars,

For the abandoned hearts,

for the love that could’ve been ours.

And every now and then,

even the air that we breathe,

reminds me of you, reminds you of me,

The waves might push away from the sands,

but they still live in the heart of the sea.

There’s this string that binds us still,

The passing by wind, leaves us in chills,

We are unfinished business me and you,

Maybe that’s the reason,

I keep forgetting to forget you.

Don’t give up.

It’ll tear through you,

you’ll first feel numb,

then it’ll hurt like hell,

and you’ll cry some,

You’ll even ask God ‘why’,

just before your tears run dry,

then you’ll feel numb again for a while,

until you get a reason to smile,

Then laughter will follow and you’ll shine,

You’ll see the stars align,

And you’ll thank yourself for trying,

Trying to be strong,

when even trying felt wrong.

Beauty and the Beast

He was a wanderer, she would stay put

She wore stilettos, he would walk barefoot

He flew like a bird, she owned the ground

He loved music, she loved his heartbeats sound

He was never really ready for her, and she always wished for him upon the stars

Letting her heart fly to him, only to have him lock it away in a jar

He was the entire ocean, but she was the shore

He would travel to see the world, for her, it was only him, she had eyes for

All he wanted was to fly, just fly far away

Poor her, for without him she couldn’t imagine another day

All she wanted was, for him to fall for her, even though last but not the least

Who could have imagined, such a tragic story, when the beauty fell in love with the beast.

Beginning and end of everything

On a two way street of love, we can’t help but feel hurt and lonely to be walking alone,

But we forget that love in itself is whole. It does not depend on the other person delivering it back to you, it does not depend on the quantity, as long as you hold quality at your end.

I believe our souls were split in half, hence we seek its mate but love always has been and will be, whole by itself.

Love is the closest you’ll ever feel to paradise, and it does not matter how many flowers blossom there, or how many thrones embrace those flowers, it’s pure paradise.

They say two people fell for each other, and began a miracle of life. So we are literally born out of love.

It’s okay to be rejected sometimes, it’s okay to feel locked out. Darling if you’re in love, you’re already home, and love has no doors, no walls. Love is Galaxy in itself. You felt love in your soul much before you took your first breath in this body, and love will remain when you leave this body behind. Your existence makes sense because these four simple alphabets made sense.

You wait for love, look for love, so you can finally begin to live this life. But it’s like the sun wondering where all the light is coming from, wanting a source of light so it can shine.

Love is the air around you, and in the most obvious way, it’s always embracing you.

Mankind might master over everything one day, but love will forever be divine.

So simply… love. And love, (in some way, with some face,) will find you. And even when that face melts away, along with the skin and bones. And when you return to your maker above, your soul will be naked holding nothing but love.

You don’t hold love in your heart, you have it engraved in your soul, and that, is what makes you whole.

If you can’t love or feel love, you’ll never know heaven even if it came knocking on your door. No matter what you do to seek peace, if you can’t feel love, you’ll always be at war.

It’s the beginning and end of everything.

Take me and fly…

And we walk on the sky, fly under the ground,

Taste the rain, as our fingers feel the clouds,

Our eyes sing, as our heartbeats pick up the rhymes,

The raindrops crawl under our skin,

Melting the walls of our hearts, now they seem so paper thin,

The sun sets in the sky, and the moon comes alive in your arms,

And as the stars surround us from far,

We lock away the world in a glass jar,

Forgetting everything we ever knew,

Now the world consists of no one, but me and you,

We are neck deep in love,

The stars rain tonight from above,

they touch our skin and take us in the sky,

And we free ourselves from this skin and bone, but we never die,

Our souls still holding hands,

We see nobody, but the world now stares as it motionlessly stands.
