Be the one who tried, then the one that wishes he had

Freedom1

One day we’ll all separate from one another

One day we’ll all be dust in the wind
One day we’ll all be free from what ties us today
And when that day comes, we’ll see what we made of the time we had.
When we are old and siting in the corner with wet eyes looking at pictures,
as they become the pain you feel in your chest every day.
Your today will decide whether that picture is a stand alone or someone in your arms
Your today will decide whether those tears will be tears of joy to have known and loved that face in the picture,
or to cry wising you had done things differently.
Live with the one you love in a small tree house with wild berries as food,
then die alone in a ruined castle.
Because when that day comes, your failures won’t matter,
What will matter is that you tried.
If you never tried, that one mistake will haunt you,
Even when your mind forgets everything, your name, even your own face.
It’ll haunt your days and nights, your reality and your dreams,
It’ll slowly kill you while you pray and beg to forget that moment.
Who’s to judge you? What are you so afraid of? People?
Since when has your life been less about you and more about People.
When that day comes, no one will matter to you,
You don’t see a way right now because the people are the dark clouds blocking your vision
But when that day comes, all you’ll see is that you never even tried,
You’ll see that those dark clouds were temporary,
You’ll realise that those dark cloud hid behind them light itself,
Had you been brave enough to wipe those cloud off of your eyes, you would’ve probably seen the light.
When that day comes, you’ll see that the way was so simple and clear, but you turned back at the first sight of a dumb.
What are you so afraid of? Failure?
You stumbled and fell countless times when you walked your first step.
Had you given up then, you would probably be living a life worth not living.
It took some thorns to prick your finger, till you learned which one was rose.
Had you given up on the first sight of blood drop, you would have never known the beautiful soothing touch of a flower.
So try today,
Try knowing that nothing will matter, if you fail, try again for something new.
If you succeed, would you look back anyway?
With all the purity and good in your heart, TRY.
Because regret is a place where God doesn’t reside.
