Be the one who tried, then the one that wishes he had

Freedom1

One day we’ll all separate from one another

One day we’ll all be dust in the wind
One day we’ll all be free from what ties us today
And when that day comes, we’ll see what we made of the time we had.
When we are old and siting in the corner with wet eyes looking at pictures,
as they become the pain you feel in your chest every day.
Your today will decide whether that picture is a stand alone or someone in your arms
Your today will decide whether those tears will be tears of joy to have known and loved that face in the picture,
or to cry wising you had done things differently.
Live with the one you love in a small tree house with wild berries as food,
then die alone in a ruined castle.
Because when that day comes, your failures won’t matter,
What will matter is that you tried.
If you never tried, that one mistake will haunt you,
Even when your mind forgets everything, your name, even your own face.
It’ll haunt your days and nights, your reality and your dreams,
It’ll slowly kill you while you pray and beg to forget that moment.
Who’s to judge you? What are you so afraid of? People?
Since when has your life been less about you and more about People.
When that day comes, no one will matter to you,
You don’t see a way right now because the people are the dark clouds blocking your vision
But when that day comes, all you’ll see is that you never even tried,
You’ll see that those dark clouds were temporary,
You’ll realise that those dark cloud hid behind them light itself,
Had you been brave enough to wipe those cloud off of your eyes, you would’ve probably seen the light.
When that day comes, you’ll see that the way was so simple and clear, but you turned back at the first sight of a dumb.
What are you so afraid of? Failure?
You stumbled and fell countless times when you walked your first step.
Had you given up then, you would probably be living a life worth not living.
It took some thorns to prick your finger, till you learned which one was rose.
Had you given up on the first sight of blood drop, you would have never known the beautiful soothing touch of a flower.
So try today,
Try knowing that nothing will matter, if you fail, try again for something new.
If you succeed, would you look back anyway?
With all the purity and good in your heart, TRY.
Because regret is a place where God doesn’t reside.

Because

mom

Because you are my reason for being

Because you are the peace I’m seeking

Because you carry my heart within your heart
Because you are the blood running through my veins even when we are apart
Because nothing smells better then you
There’s light in me because there’s light in you
Because you were the first word I spoke when I could speak
Because you were the first one I saw when i could see
Because you mean the world to me
Because you are still the first one I look for when I open my eyes every day
Because you are my palette of colours in the world so grey
Because when I walked my first step, I stumbled and crawled to you
Because you lift me up when my world turns blue
Because you tell me everything is gonna be alright
Because you hug me so tight
Because I’m your angel and you are my wings
Because when you smile my heart sings
Because when nothing makes sense and I fall and disappoint
You pick me up and show me the whole point
Because you carry me when I can’t carry myself
Because you are God’s miracle itself
Because you are in every heart beat
Because you are the one I never wanna leave
Because I’m your princess and you’re my queen
Because you are my days, you are the nights and everything in between
Because you are my heaven on earth
Because you are my reason to love
Because you are exactly how I wanna be when I turn forty
You are my heart, you are my world, you are my living breathing poetry.

Peace found me, and I found you

maxresdefault

Waiting on you,

like waiting for rain in this drought

The closer I get, the further you go

Day 1, day 2, and now I seem to have lost days

In the corner, rolled up in my own lap

startled by every knock I hear

Still waiting for you…

But then slowly, swiftly

the noises faded away

And I could hear my own heart pounding

Beating and then skipping a beat

and then beating yet again.

The most beautiful sound.

Then I pulled myself up and danced to the music of my heart beating

And I danced

Days and months passed by

Still hearing that music.

I looked for you, so empty inside

Chaos in my head

Now I look for peace instead,

with a song in my heart,

dancing every step of the way.

I looked for peace and peace found me

And its then, that I found you too.

Your Hollow World

images

Fresh in mind Fresh in sight

But then the memories fade away

Because you walk away

And you walk where I can’t follow

Anxious and scared

Tears drop

I stumble and I start to chase

Breaking every bone in my body

And then I catch up to you,

You hold me close and you smile

You smile because I’m broken?

As broken as you?

And you take me into the darkness with you,

I don’t recognize anything,

There are no colors, there’s no breeze,

No raindrops

No sun ever shines in your world

I try and I want to leave, but you have me so mesmerised

I settle…

I settle into this sadness that fills me a bit more everyday,

Rivers of teardrops in your world my love

The darkness filled me up slowly,

But then that tiny ray of my light broke loose,

And it shined so bright I could see again,

And I walked like a glow stick in the dark,

Tearing away the hollow world that you called home

Now I’m where I belong.

Alone but never lonely.

Faded but still singing my song.
